Research in our laboratory is focused in the area of functional nanomaterials. We are interested in examining the fundamental as well as applied properties of hybrid nanomaterials. Our research involves organic/inorganic synthesis, nanomaterials fabrication and characterization, photophysical and biophysical studies. The hybrid nanomaterials that we prepare are utilized for self-assembly, light harvesting and bio-targeting studies.
